LARGER IMAGE | Caramel Slider Trachemys Scripta Elegans Turtles for Sale Adoption / Export / Education These exquisite Turtles represent many years of carefully selective breeding techniques. The Caramel Slider is a morph of the commonly bred Red Ear Slider. It is an amazing feat when a breeder is capable of illustrating all desirable traits while leaving out the traits that are not so desirable. The end result is certainly a beautiful Turtle. The Caramel Slider exhibits a range of carapace colorations that vary from a light yellow to beige with each scute being outlined in black. Their skin tones are like nothing that has ever been seen before. It can range from a light shade of pink to almost a lavender hue. They exhibit a certain level of transparency to their skin due to these very light skin pigments. A Caramel Slider’s eyes demonstrate a brilliant shade of blue on the iris and pupils that are a deep shade of red. With out a doubt a Caramel Slider would make any Rare Turtle collection complete. |

| Two Headed Red Ear Slider Turtle
Trachemys Scripta Elegans
Turtles for Sale Adoption / Export / Education
These beautiful creatures will definitely leave you with a bit of shell shock. They are the more commonly found species, the Red Ear Slider, with a twist. The twist being that they were supposed to be twins. However, they did not develop into two totally functioning Turtles. Instead they developed into one totally functioning Turtle with two heads. They are certainly not unheard of, but they exist only in very small numbers. These oddities of nature require a certain level of care in order to flourish, but have been known to live long and healthy lives well into maturity. These interesting creatures will require more than the standard level of care, because having two heads makes the decision process that much more difficult. For instance, the water level should remain shallow, because if the Two Headed Red Ear Slider becomes overturned in the water, the two heads have a hard time agreeing as to which way they should rotate in order to turn themselves over. |

| STEVIE THE RED EAR SLIDER WITH NO EYES Not for sale Meet Stevie She’s a No-Eyed Red Ear Slider Turtle that I have raised since she made her way out of her shell on July 23rd, 2002. Stevie was born without eyes, but makes her way around the tank just as well, if not better, than any of our other turtles. Stevie is pretty amazing! When it’s time to eat, Stevie swims in a circle around her food as fast as she can until she creates a whirlpool. Then she just scoops up her food right from the whirlpool she made on her own! She’s probably the coolest turtle we’ve ever seen and even though she isn’t for sale I just thought you should know how special she is and to keep her in mind when you're considering a turtle of your own. We have hatchling Red Ear Sliders that were born just like Stevie and are waiting to be cared for, observed and looked after for life.
